The neck is perfectly straight, the action is low and comfortable, and the sound is exactly how a Tejano Bajo sexto should sound. The back sides are a beautifully figured walnut (nogal) and the top is the highly desirable Adirondack red spruce. Hipshot tuners make changing strings much easier and hold tuning very well. A built in truss rod for adjustments. The Bajo is outfitted with a Carvin bass pick up with a mounting plate made and installed by Salinas. Great sound acoustically and plugged in.
