This particular piece does not have any dates which we think makes it a bit harder to find. The condition is wonderful but not without flaws. See pictures for images of the actual item being sold. In two corners of the base, there appears to be hairline cracks in the finish. They do not carry through the piece and do not show in the interior. The gold piping around the top rim of the teapot has thinned in a couple of spots. It may have come this way from Sadler as is true with a number of their products. But the image is sharp and clear, the colors true to the actual stores themselves. For the true Anglophile, this will take them back to the heyday of luxury retailers. In preparation for sale, we carefully washed by hand the inside and outside, carefully searching for any defect. We believe this teapot has never been used as the collector had many. There are no stains that we can observe. Of course, we could have missed something small so see the pictures and evaluate condition for yourself. This item is sold as is.
