The brand new Eco-drive battery should last 10-20 years. My last one lasted about 15 years, but if you don't give it sunlight, you can kill the battery. So do your best to keep some sun on it every once in a while. I am pretty solid on the price because I'm ok if I keep it. It's a great looking watch.
