Description: Ryobi 18v One+ Modular Battery Holder Tower for Ryobi Link Wall Rails This is a vertical battery storage system for Ryobi 18v One+ Batteries that is mounted to Ryobi Link Wall Rails. Being modular, it can be assembled to hold many batteries in a variety of arrangements, but this bundle is for 6 batteries. Each Shaft holds 2 Ryobi 18v One+ Batteries that slide in at a 10-degree angle with a slight gap between them. Shaft pieces connect to each other with included screw & nut. Each shaft has an additional screw hole in the middle to attach it to a bracket (if needed). There is an additional Top, Bottom, and Bracket to complete your assembly. Installation on Ryobi Link Wall Rails begins with the Link Shaft then additional Shafts connect above or below it. The center hole on the Link Shaft aligns with the hole on Link for an additional set screw (not included) if desired. For stability, we recommend attaching more Shafts below the Link Shaft (than above it) so that more batteries are held below the Link Wall Rail. If it extends above or below the Link Wall Rails (which have thickness), attach Brackets as needed to brace the tower back to the wall to prevent bending or flexing. The weight of all the batteries suspends off one Link attachment point, so we do not recommend over 10-12 batteries (5-6 shafts) maximum and depends on the weights of the batteries you are holding. This listing is for a bundle that holds 6 batteries (using 1 Link Shaft and 2 Shafts). You may add on Shafts to hold more batteries but must purchase them separately. All parts (except the Top which uses the screw from the Shaft below it) have an included screw and nut to attach to other parts. No screws are included to attach it to the Ryobi Link Wall Rails (but the Link Shaft will slot into Link securely without this extra screw). The Link Bundle includes: 1 Link Shaft, 2 Shafts, 1 Top, 1 Bottom, and 1 Bracket- Stand Bundle: 1 Base, 3 Shafts, and 1 TopNote: The Parts Diagram illustrates what is contained in the Link-Mounted Bundle, but also shows mounting for Wall-Mounted and Standalone assemblies, which are sold separately. Assembly Instructions: You will need a screwdriver (not included). See parts diagram for reference.1. Remove screws and nuts and note how they were installed for shipping2. Determine your layout/arrangement before assembly.3. Assemble the parts together before mounting them (to a wall or Link). Screw parts together to be tight with included screw & nut. Nuts have hexagonal holes on the back of each part and screws go in the tapered holes from the front.4. Slide Link Shaft into a slot (and optionally install with set screw, which is not included). Make sure the Brackets were installed first for Shafts that extend beyond Link Wall Rails. Additional installation notes:- for Link Wall Rails, be sure to include brackets for areas where the Tower extends above or below Link. Or for increased rigidity, install the brackets after slotting the Tower into the Link Wall rails with long screws (not included) through the Shaft and Bracket into the wall surface.- for additional strength or rigidity, you may superglue the shafts together (but this is optional and obviously cannot then be disassembled). If doing this, you should screw pieces together first without glue to check, disassemble, glue, then reassemble after the glue is sets up and is strong.
