Vassos was the designer of the exterior of the RCA Corporation's first television set. In addition, he designed American pavilions for numerous international fairs. Inscribed by Vassos to Spyros Skouras on the half title page. Spyros Skouras (1873-1971) was a Greek American film pioneer and president of 20th Century Fox (1942-1962). While he was president, Skouras was credited with embracing cinemascope technology with the goal of saving the movie industry from the rising competition from television.
