Description: Our Cat Flossie, written and illustrated by Ruth Brown, is a 26 page, 8 X 9 1/4 inch hardcover book published by E. P. Dutton, New York. The copyright date is 1986, and this is a first edition: the copyright page states "First Edition" and the printing number line starts with "1." The book is in near fine condition in a near fine unclipped ($10.95) dustjacket, with glossy illustrated boards and orange endpapers. Synopsis - From the dustjacket: "Get acquainted with a very special cat. Flossie's days are described in simple, disarming words perfect for the youngest audience. Small children will also find much to fascinate them in the stunning, close-up pictures." Illustrated on every page with full-color drawings. Condition Details - The book has a square spine, a tight binding, and no marks, tears, turned down page corners or writing. The cover has sharp corners, no edgewear, rubwear, soil or stains. There is very mild toning/yellowing to the white edges of the jacket and text. The textblock edges are white and clean. The glossy dustjacket (in new, protective Brodart) has just a hint of edgewear, no soil, rubwear or tears. There is a tiny nick in the jacket on the rear cover foredge. No unpleasant odors. I never use stock photos. The item pictured is the item you'll receive, and it will be packed with care regardless of the shipping method. Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
