Finish Options: Matte - minimal shine with a darker appearance, approximating the look of vintage prints; more prone to showing fingerprints but suffers much less from glare and can create more of a feeling of depth and texture Luster - a slight shine, between matte and satin; slightly textured to minimize glare, providing almost a shimmer effect and a more upscale feel Satin / Semi-Gloss - a moderate shine, a balance of characteristics between matte and glossy Glossy - very shiny, results in richer, more vivid colors and holds up better to handling but is also more prone to glare Please also note that if you opt to laminate your print, the overall appearance will be more glossy. Moreover, the edge of the lamination will increase the overall size of the print by about 1/4" in both dimensions. Other things to keep in mind: In the listing photos, I aim to give an accurate depiction of the final print. However, an image will often look slightly different printed than on a screen, depending on your video hardware. Also, certain aspects of how an image looks, like vividness or brightness, are at least partly subjective. When a print is offered in a variety of shapes and sizes, the image may have to be cropped a bit or otherwise altered to fit those dimensions, but I minimize and logically apply any alterations needed when printing your order.
