Description: I never met Rudy Autio, but I was attracted to this charger when I saw it at Leedy-Voulkos Gallery in Kansas City, MO. It had only recently been delivered to the gallery. What struck me with this work were the glazes which were much more colorful and vibrant than on his other works. I always assumed he must have been in a pretty good mood when he made this piece. The piece measures 27" x 27" x 2-3/4", and weighs about 32 pounds. It is signed "Autio 85".
