Insert photos are of Dick Huddleston and the Lum and Abner radio characters. Postcard is an advertisement for the Dick Huddleston General Store in Pine Ridge, Arkansas. Huddleston built the General Store in 1912. In response to the popular radio show "The Lum and Abner show" set in fictional Pine Ridge, Arkansas which ran from 1931 to 1955, Huddleston persuaded the citizens of Waters, Arkansas to change the name of the town to Pine Ridge. He sold Lum and Abner memorabilia in the 1940s to tourists who visited the community hoping to meet the real Lum and Abner town residents and buy souvenirs from the radio show. At some point, the store became the Lum and Abner Museum and Jot 'Em Down Store which were in operation until the 2023. Postcard may have normal wear associated with old postcards such as creases, stains and bent corners. See pics for details and conditions. Reasonable offers will be considered. Multiple purchases will receive discounted shipping upon request.
