Description: Set of two gorgeous coffee/tea cups by Royale Stratford of Staffordshire, England.Both cups are stunning on their own with embossed panel and leaf design on thecream white bone china body and the floral pattern on both front and back, but it'sthe hand made flowers on the lids that elevate these cups to the height of elegance.Though Royale Stratford was only in business for a short period (1976-2005), they were well known for their hand made, hand painted floral creations.This pair features one cup with shades of pink and red roses crowned by a delicate red china rose, and the other cup with yellow campion flowers topped by a matching yellow china flower.They measure approximately 4 1/2" tall (without lid), 5 3/4" tall (with lid) and 3" indiameter. They hold 10 ounces each.Both cups are in excellent pre-owned condition, but there are several very tiny chipson the underside of the flower petals on each lid which can barely be seen.
