Description: Old Royal mechanical writing machine / typewriter. Nothing terrible cosmetically / very presentable, but guessing it was exposed to some moisture at some point as there is corrosion / rust here and there... Nothing that effects function. Lightly cleaned. New ribbon installed on spools it had when found. Tested as best I know and all the functions seem to be working fine. Rubber is not bad for the vintage. Smells like a typewriter, but not terrible. Instructions present, but rough. Case does the job. I am enthusiastic about typewriters, but by no means an expert or professional repair person. Pictures of the typeface can be seen in the gallery as well as a tight shot of the serial number. All pictures were taken outside in natural light and are a big part of the description. Please review them carefully, use the zoom, and make sure this machine will work for you.
