Description: This is a stunning piece of original Royal Delft and is marked correctly on the bottom as photographed. It is from 1943 (marked BM).This scalloped edge bowl has a diameter of 11 inches, and it stands 4 inches tall. The bowl could use a little cleaning, but I am such a butterfingers, I would prefer not to wash it. It is in excellent condition: free of any chips, cracks,, or repairs. This does have some crazing which can be seen in the photos if you enlarge them. As pottery collectors know crazing on pottery is expected and does not affect the pottery's ranking. The only reason I do not call this piece mint is because on the edge, see last photo, I enlarged it so you could see what I think was a glaze pop on the piece but mentioned for complete accuracy. . I have sold hundreds of piece of pottery over the years, and I know what collectors expect. Priced to sell today.
