Description: This Royal Crown Derby Bone China covered oval shaped Serving Bowl is in Derby's "Derby Border" Pattern. The bowl features geometric Imari style designs in the colors of cobalt, rust and blue on an white background. The Bowl features round applied handles. The piece is richly decorated in gold gilding. The "Derby Pattern" was originally introduced in 1962 and it is now retired. This Bowl measures approximately 12-1/2" from handle to handle and covered measures 5-3/4" tall (measured at the top of the cover's finial). Uncovered the Bowl measures approximately 3" tall.This Bowl is in excellent condition. It does not appear to have ever been used. The gold gilding is intact. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines, crazing or discoloration. It is a beautifully Royal Crown Derby Bowl which will blend beautifully with other Royal Crown Derby Imari patterns.
