Main Street was Hwy. 66 through town. The Desert Inn Motel is still operating under the same name in downtown Barstow. You can't miss it as it now has a bright orange roof like the old HoJo's. There is no tape, glue or handwriting on the inside of this matchcover. The front strike Best Western cover has a flex across the rear cover and is in good unstruck condition. The yellow Friendship Inn (AAA approved motel) is in very good-to-excellent unstruck condition. I have 250 US Highway 66 matchcover auctions on eBay all with opening auction bids of just $1.00. And all of the auctions have a “Buy It Now” provision for $1.45. Such a deal! (The “Buy It Now” option is lost if someone bids on the auction.)
