William and George Field started Roselane Pottery in 1938. The brothers initially worked out of their home. The successful sale of their figurines enabled the construction of a factory on Main Street in Pasadena, California. Hagen Renaker, another pottery company, helped distribute Roselane products from 1965 through 1967. Some Roselane figures are found with “H-R” stickers. When the State of California condemned the pottery for its highway 210 construction, Roselane Pottery moved to Baldwin Park, California.William Fields died on August 15, 1973. Subsequently, Prather Engineering purchased Roselane Pottery in November 1973. Prather moved the company to Long Beach, California. Roselane ended production in 1977.
