Description: Glossy Rookwood vase with a lovely natural combination of blue, yellow-gold and green, the earth tone colors with a unique oval wide shape. Measures nearly 4" high, and nearly 5" wide across the middle. Weighs nearly a pound on my scale. Has the Rookwood stamp, marked LII for 1952, and 6660F at the bottom of the vase. In Rookwood pottery markings, the letter "F" typically indicates the smallest size of a particular shape, with "A" representing the largest size, so, when you see an "F" marking, it means the piece is the smallest version of that shape. This reminds me of the style of Pacific Pottery from the 50's and 60's - their colors in drop glaze vases. This is a pretty one!
