Description: Ronald Hayes Pearson was at the forefront of modernism. He opened a craft store in Rochester NY called Shop One that showcased the best craftspeople around. He made bronze bowls and candle holders. He later moved on to sterling jewelry and relocated to Deer Isle Maine where he eventually died. He made a series of pins like this one, simple torqued pieces. and slightly different configurations. What separates this one from the rest is that the front surface is striated, which makes it really catch the light. It is 2" x 5/8". In very good vintage condition with a working pin and roll-over clasp. Check pics as they are part of the description. Follow me or check back often as I am in the process of liquidating my vast collection of modernist furnishings, listing new stuff almost daily.
