Description: SHAKESPEARE SERIES This painting was selected to be one of the posters for the play "Romeo and Juliet" and is titled "Romeo and Juliet On A Red Car Afternoon". The Juliet face underwent several changes like a plastic surgery quest, changing and changing back, from being brunette to a blonde and the expression changed as the director of the play and I worked together to try and make the face just right. The original concept of the painting was Romeo meeting her for the first time..."She doth teach the torches to burn bright". He is speechless as he discovers her qualities as something he has never seen before. That concept got lost in the design but the painting was fun to paint, fun to change-up and redesign, fun project!
