This tunic has a long history in the making and I only have this one available for purchase. About 23 years ago or more, I purchased an antique red wine and gold tapestry that had classical Greek and Roman designs on it. I never displayed it or used it in anything all of these years. Then ten months ago, I came across some really nice red wine material and decided to use some of this tapestry on the upper shoulders to make a nice classical design Roman officers tunic. It was extremely difficult because as soon as I cut into the tapestry, it began to unravel like crazy. I figured out how to stabilize the tapestry material however, so that I could apply it to the tunic. I only had enough of the nice red wine material to make two of these tunics. I finished them eight months ago. Well, guess what. I have never offered them for sale. Well, four months ago, I made two really nice red wine and gold togas for a Roman officer. Again, I only had enough material to make two of those togas as the material was antique to begin with as well. It is full of classical designs as well like Acanthus Leaves and laurel Wreaths etc. Again, I have never offered these for as well until today June 25, 2024. Well, about two weeks ago, an actor contacted me that was acting the part of Pontus Pilot in a show and wanted to know if I had anything he might like. Well, I decided it was time to dress out my mannequin. I did not plan to make the wine red and gold tunic to go with or match the red wine and gold toga, but they went together like bread and butter. So now one of the two has already sold to an actor friend so there is only one left of each, the tunic and the toga. The tunic is $189 and the toga with the Roman emperor medallion is $198. The boots are $168, the braccae gold pants are $89, the brass square plate belt is $198. The shown gold braided belt is still available and is also a one of kind for $89.
