Regarded by critics as "part of rock & roll legend", the Rolling Stones 1972 American Tour, also known as "Stones Touring Party" took place across the USA and Canada in June and July 1972, largely in promotion of their latest album, the landmark "Exile on Main St." After being commissioned to create the 1970 European Tour poster, and in turn, creating the iconic Stones tongue and lip logo, British designer John Pasche was recruited to create this iconic poster. Featuring a jet with the bands logo flying into a psychedelic scene, this vibrant piece is one of the most recognisable live event designs of the past half century. On thick art stock paper and in mint condition, this poster looks fantastic framed and in-room.
