Description: Here is a Rolleiflex 2.8F camera for sale, it is in absolute fantastic condition. The camera shows very little wear and use for its age and performed wonderfully when I shot with it. This camera was produced sometime in 1965 from looking up the serial and defining it through the Honeywell label. Light wear is seen around camera and on black leather and is shown to best extent on listing. Included is the original manual, secondhand case, meter cover, strap, pistol grip, neck strap, direct viewfinder, and what I assume to be the original meter diffuser. All in fantastic condition with little dust in the prism and light wear on the pistol grip and case. I bought this off eBay about a year ago and don’t know it’s history and whom owned it. The case and strap are in very fair condition being worn from age so I’ve used a leather conditioner to try and soften them, strap shows light cracks so beware when using. The lens shows no signs of fungus, separation, scratches, or any other forms of severe damage. Light dust is present (and maybe haze?) but shouldn’t have any negative impact on negatives. The camera hasn’t been Cla’d but I’ve kept it in ideal conditions and only shout about twenty rolls of film throughout owning it. Unfortunately I do not have any photos to show with this camera. Shutter looks clean and free of oil except for the aperture showing light signs of oil from age. The ground glass is in fair condition working in bright light but is harder to see in darker situations and would benefit to being replaced. One of the clips that snaps the viewfinder to the camera does seem to have fallen out of place. (works fine but I did not try to fix it in worry of breaking something) Shutter seems accurate and smooth along with the meter still functioning and seeming to be accurate. Tested on all shutter speeds and seems to work just fine but unsure on the two green timed exposures, unless I used them wrong? (didn’t seem to break anything) Self timer is sluggish and does not work, unless I did it wrong. (Not expert on these models and don’t have the equipment to check 100%.) Included are four complimentary rolls of fresh Tri-X 400 to test the camera with along with a film canister. Please ask any questions or for extra photos of camera as I could only fit 24 out of the 43 I’ve wanted to upload. I am not an expert at determining the camera’s functions to a t, so the camera is sold as-is. Selling the camera as I don’t use it as much as I thought I would, and I mainly use an sx-70 nowadays and would like to put some money towards film for it. (Relisting due to it being overpriced originally, sorry I am new to selling such a camera and was way off originally on the price but fixed it accordingly.)
