Description: Rolleicord Va - 120 TLR Film Camera - Medium Format - Film-Tested Serial Number: 1918715 This camera is in nice condition but please review all the auction images as they are part of the description. You will see some evidence of use/wear/age but no damage or abuse. The Rolleicord Va Type 2 was produced from 1958-1961 and featured the Schneider 75mm f/3.5 Xenar lens. This camera was made towards the start of the production run. Glass is very nice - no fungus, separation or coating issues. Shutter speeds from 1/15 to 1/500 all appear and sound correct. 1 sec. to 1/8 are a bit sluggish but may improve with use. I just tested the 1 sec. speed again and it fired correctly 5 times in a row. With that said, even if the slow speeds are working when you receive the camera, they may not be reliable unless you invest in a CLA. Camera was film-tested and results were excellent. Two sample images have been included. The focusing screen looks good with a minimal amount of dust/debris. Focus is very smooth and easy to achieve. This camera was a pleasure to shoot with, as are most well-looked-after Rolleicords. The case is in such bad condition that I chose not to show a photo. It will help protect the camera in transit but at this point, I would hardly even call it a case :) Parts are missing - it can’t be salvaged - it’s a lost cause. No returns are accepted so please review all the images and ask questions prior to bidding. Thanks!
