Description: Up for sale is this vintage Roland JX-305 "Groove Synthesizer" Made in 1998. It is essentially an MC-505 groove box but with a full size keyboard. All keys, knobs, buttons and functions have been tested and it sounds great! See AudioPilz and Benn Jordan's videos on youtube to see what this unit is capable of doing. The included power adapter is not OEM, but rather one cobbled together from electrical tape and other cables/plug. I've never had a problem with it and it functions properly. Overall Good physical condition, showing some marks, scratches to exterior plastics and minor discoloration from age. NOTE: There are a couple of minor issues to disclose: The main volume knob and pot are 'touchy', meaning that you may need to fiddle with it's postion slightly to achieve a good output level. I found around the 12 o clock position is the sweet spot in most cases. The LED display will occasionlly have either 1 or 2 horizontal lines not working (a common issue.) Sometimes it'll turn on and be flawless with no lines out at all! Still quite readable whenever the 2 lines are out. The photos show only 1 line out, which is the case most of the time I've owned it.
