If you want to convert TD-1KPX into a setup with 3 cymbals, by connecting two crash cymbals in parallel using a Y-cable, they will have the same sound and volume. However, by changing to a sound source module and trigger cable that supports 3 cymbals, it is now possible to set the sound and volume of the two crash cymbals individually. The kick pad has been replaced with a beaterless kick pedal to prevent vibration and reduce noise.
