Description: Offered is the vintage book "Roger Baldwin-Founder of the American Civil Liberties Union", written by Peggy Lamson and published in 1976 by the Houghton Mifflin Co. in Boston. This biography of the ACLU founder is a first edition and appears to be a first printing, with a full number line. There are numerous black and white photos. Also included is a photocopy of a newspaper review of the book (see last photo). The book is approx. 9 3/8" x 6 1/2" and contains 304 pages, including the index. It is in very good condition. The black cloth hard cover has no wear, the silver words on the front and spine still shiny. There is no cracking inside either the front or the back cover. The mustard yellow endpapers are clean. I see no missing or torn pages and all are well-attached to the binding and clean. There is a gift inscription on the half-title page but otherwise I see no writing in the book. The dust jacket has no large tears but does have some short edge tears and slight wrinkling along the top edge. It has an unclipped price. I have a lot of experience with vintage and antique books but am not an expert so please let me know if my description is missing information and you have additional questions. I will do my best to answer them! Please take a moment to look at some of the other items in my eBay store!
