The original release date was March 30th, 1993 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, marking the 50th Anniversary of the opening of the groundbreaking RICHARD RODGERS and OSCAR HAMMERSTEIN II musical comedy "OKLAHOMA!". (The Original Broadway production opened March 31st, 1943 at New York's St. James Theatre and ran for 2212 performances, becoming the longest running musical in Broadway history.) .....
