Description: Wholesale Rockard Lot Offering for the first time a wholesale lot of the unique & collectible Rockards. Great for retail, flea market, trade shows or mail order! This lot consists of 5 each of 43 different-(215 total) colorful caricatures originally created from 1978-1982. The reverse contains a history and/or discography of the popular artists of the period & the immortals of Rock n Roll. Included are: Blue Oyster Cult, Beatles 2 & 4, 3-Grateful Dead,2-Led Zepellin,2-Who, 2- Bee Gees, 2-Rolling Stones, Carly Simon, Springsteen, Neil Young, Joe Jackson, The Doors, Rod Stewart, David Bowie, Blondie, Steve Forbert, Cheap Trick, Boston, Meatloaf, Bob Dylan, Linda Ronstadt, Janis Joplin, Frampton, Bad Company, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Queen, Rush, The Kinks, Allman Brothers, Elvis Costello, Jackson Browne, Pink Floyd , Heart, Hendrix & 2 Kiss. Back in 1978 some friends got together and decided to have fun and put out some caricatures and biographies of the Rock Performers of the time. They are 5 x 8 inch cards, mostly full color and were released sporadically over the next 3 years. Getting some acclaim, notoriety & a distribution contract they prepared to conquer the world, however a fire in the building they were stored destroyed almost all the cards. Only six sets of the original cards are known to exist. A few years ago some limited reprints were made, giving people a chance to complete their collection or just pick up a few of their favorites.
