Description: This is a wonderful "Self Portrait with Yellow Nose" by the Provincetown and New York figurative expressionist Robert Beauchamp. The framed size it 21" x 26," and the canvas measures 19" x 27." It has a new and very nice modern wooden frame in excellent condition. It is signed and dated 1994 on the reverse, and shows the fine impasto, brushwork and humorous treatment by the artist, of himself. It is from the artist's estate, and I bought it personally from Nadine Beauchamp. It is an extremely fine example of Beauchamp's expressionism, his active and lovely brush work, and his high and interesting impasto.
