There is a small and reasonably tasteful book plate on the front paste down. The binding is square and a touch loose but isn’t broken. The text block has some soiling but no has writing. The dust jacket is sunned to the spine, edge worn, and has a small abrasion to the upper rear. This copy is NOT price clipped, something which is rather important as later issue jackets are only distinguishable by the difference in price so collector’s have to be weary of any clipped copies. All together a solid example of what has always been one of Heinlein’s toughest books to obtain from this period. While not as famous as some of his other contemporary works Red Planet has always been more elusive. Heinlein’s third work of juvenile science fiction.
