Description: This is part of a set of four banks that was issued with the release of the Beatles' movie,"Yellow Submarine" in 1968. It was made by Pride Creations and is approximately 8" tall. There is a coin slot in the back of Ringo's head. At the bottom is a rubber plug (now hardened) and two stickers. One sticker is a King Features sticker and the other is a Pride Creations sticker. The King Features sticker shows that this bank was made in 1968. There were four banks in this set, one for each Beatle. This Ringo Starr bank is in overall very nice condition. The colors are still very brilliant! Looking at the front, there is a small, 1/16" spot, just in front of his right hand, that has some slight color loss, and an even tinier spot on his tie. On the back, above the coin slot, there is a 1/8" diameter spot without black paint. I tried to show this in the photos. Other than those, the appearance of the bank is just about perfect. There are no marks at all in his face and in his uniform. This bank has some change in it, but the rubber plug seems to have hardened and I didn't want to try to remove the plug and then the change, so the change is free for the new owner to keep!
