A copy of the technical manual (very rare) is included plus most of a schematic diagram. All circuitry is solid state except the RF oscillator which is a Nuvistor type 6DV4 triode (http://www.tubebooks.org/tubedata/hb-3/receiving_tubes_part_2/6DV4.PDF).The one photo with the oscilloscope in the background shows the RF out at a frequency less than where the scope gives up (about 150MHz). Modulation can't be seen as it is too small. The band selection wheel is typical of high frequency engineering (kinda looks like plumbing).I've heard that the type N output can be used with an attenuator in case the user accidently transmits into the output jack.
