IMPORTANT NOTE: There is not an easily obtainable list of engravings, prints or maps. Generally we try to describe the number of engravings present but can not be sure this is a full list. In particular, the partial color linen backed pieces that were present in a couple years of these journals are described if present. If they are not described or listed there are none present in our copy. We acquired a good number of these yearly compilations so please see our other items for different years. Finally, the text is in French and while we will do our best to answer questions, any questions that relate to the actual specific content of the book outside of the larger theme of the journal we will likely be unable to answer. The book is generally is Fair Condition. It measures approximately 8 1/4" x 12" and is about 2" thick. The boards have some wear - stains, scratches and discoloration. The front board and spine are present, but no longer connected to the book - they are only still connected to the back board. The book leans. There is some scuffing along the edges and the corners are bumped and fraying. There are some wrinkles in the cloth boards. The spine is discolored. Internally, there are about 900 pages. The pages have wear and browning. The front end page and Title page are present, but no longer attached. The Title page is heavily chipped along the edges. Pencil writing on some of the pages. There are nicks/chips along the edges of the pages and some of the corners are creased. Heavier browning around the edge of the pages. The pages are very delicate to the touch and chip/tear easily when turned. Several ink stamps through-out labeled "SURPLUS-1 LIBRARY OF CONGRESS DUPLICATE", several "Catalogued" ink stamps, as well. Includes hundreds of illustrations and charts throughout, including 30 fold-out Plates - maps, engravings or charts. 1 map in the center, titled - PLAN GENERAL DU RESEAU METROPOLITAIN DE LONDRES - it is folded with 3 panels - 1 of the panels is disconnected and the other panels have tears along the bottom fold.
