These are brand new Retro green replacement Sculptured Air foam grille inserts that fit directly into the walnut trim grille frames of the vintage era JBL-L100 Century speakers..(These will fit all L-100 models from the 1970's, including the early in-line driver layout, century, L-100a) One cube in the bottom left corner of each insert is lowered just like JBL did on the original grilles to mount your original logos /badges..Metal badges are included that you can attach to the foam grille if needed.. Multiple color choices are available.. The original 3 JBL OEM colors, Burnt Orange, Ultra Blue and Russet Brown...Also available is Black, Olive Drab Green, Maroon and Red..Message me for details Having 33 years experience in the automotive refinishing trade, these foam insert has been professionally painted just like how JBL painted them originally in the 1970's...The painting process creates the most vivid colors...Modern top of the line materials offers superior UV protection and creates the beautiful and stunning Retro Green color...The back sides of the grilles are not painted and is the natural foam color, which is a dark charcoal gray..The material is a high quality open cell reticulated foam and the grilles are proudly fabricated here in the USA.. It is recommended to fully glue the inserts into the frame for a secure and professional install..The black cloth mesh that jbl stapled into the wood frames is required for a center gluing location and to support the foam insert...*No wood frames included in this sale* *Note.. The inserts will need to be fully glued into the wood frames and also glued to the center of the black mesh cloth in two locations in the frames exactly how JBL installed the foam originally..The old JBL glue pattern can be seen in most of the wood frames..Just follow the old glue pattern....Detailed instructions on the type of glue you use, photos of the gluing pattern,etc is included in the box.. *If you need new mesh i have a listing in my items for sale for some very nice, very close to original looking black mesh available..Just click on my profile, then my items for sale and you should easily be able to find it..
