Description: This is a beautiful cup and saucer set, irridecent purple and white with flowers (violets or pansies?) and gold trim. It has reticulated edges of saucer and bottom of cup. The cup has an embossed pattern on the outside in the shape of leaves. The saucer measures 5.5" across and the edge is 7/8" high. The cup is 2.5" high and 3.5" not counting the handle. The handle sticks out about 1" farther. The base of the cup is 2" across. The bottom of each has a round black and gold label that says Wales Reg US Pat Off Made in Japan. There is an image of a crown in the middle. I see no cracks or chips on these. They are absolutely gorgeous! Please see the photos provided and consider them part of the description.
