Restored Vintage Craftsman/ Reed Bench Vise 4 In Jaws 54 Lbs

Description: This is a special vise arguably one of the finest 4 in swivel vises ever made. I know vises I have restored over 850 vintage vises. This vise was made by Reed for Sears I restored the vise correctly totally dissembled every single piece inspected No breaks no weld no repairs . I took her to metal removed all scars by sanding . I refinished the jaws all exposed metal polished. I used automotive primer and 3 coats of Navy Blue the original color with a Lacquer clear coat. White highlights. You cannot buy a vise like this today .Sadly they are no longer made the vise was made in 1940s and works looks like new.The screw and nut are excellent there are no repairs welds breaks or fillers. I sell 4 in Wilton’s for more than I’m listing this vise for. Sorry Wilton fans this vise is superior in every way. So if you’re in the market for a real serious vise. This is it .
