Description: Correct and original "Rare" Model # 3352 Chapter Ring version of the Accutron Spaceview model from Bulova's USA Factories. Larger than many of the earlier Spaceviews... so it's more contemporary in size. It has a very "Funky Spacey Vintage Dressy" look to it. ;) Clean! Classic! Timeless! Back Set! Electro Magnetic Tuning Fork! The first successful, and BEST, Electronic Timepiece! A Genuine Chapter Ring Spaceview Model... NOT another FrankenSteined Parts Bin conversion! The only watch that MUST be in every Watch Lovers collection! The Caliber 214 movement... complete with a correct/funky/ORANGE/Sweep Second Hand! This has been adjusted to run "Dead on balls accurate," as Marisa Tomei (My Cousin Vinny) would say. Fully serviced mechanicals. Complete disassembly... including the case and crystal... DEEP cleaned! Friction points and setting crown lubricated to spec.! New #735 & 736 Battery and Case Gaskets installed. New Accucell 1.35v Battery. "Tuned/Phased" to run on the modern 1.35v Accucell battery... no "tricks" (diodes) necessary! Very nice, original condition throughout... with very few gentle signs of use... "Patina/Character"... this way you won't be afraid to add some of your own! "Numbers Matching" original movement, Coil Assembly and gorgeous correct and original Hand Set with the infamous red/orange Pylon smooth Sweep hand! The "Bezel" is in very nice condition... as is the caseback/crown/battery cover, Chapter Ring and the correct/original (not the aussie repops!) Hand Set! The Coil colors are still vibrant and clean... this beauty must have spent far more time in the drawer than on the wrist! I installed a New Old Stock factory crystal on it... NOT the badly detailed aftermarket "stuff." No need to alter and stress the electronics on this beauty... thereby devaluing it!Why "coat" the Coils... adding stress and trapping the windings and limiting movement?70% of the Coil issues are on the Battery side (due to owners using incorrect batteries back in the day)... NOT the Component side! Stop wasting time over-bidding Frankensteined FAKES, from the U.K., when you can have the genuine article.Why buy an over "engineered" parts bin "FAKEVIEW "mess from a part-time "hobbyist" who throws together a multitude of parts?What value does that have now... much less in the future?!It'll be nothing more than what it is... an altered mess... a future "Parts Watch"! 98% of the "Spaceviews" here are eBay are "converted" Fakeviews...
