Description: Up for sale is a resin statue of Salvador Dali's Double Nike de Samothrace. The statue is cast in resin and mounted on a faux marble base. The base of the statue measures 7-7/8" x 5-1/2". With the base, the statue is approximately 8-1/2" tall and weighs over 4 1/2 pounds, which is pretty heavy. The base of the statue shows a signature, which I assume to be Salvador Dali's. I don't think this particular statue is actually "signed"--I think it's supposed to be an accurate reproduction of the actual statue, which has Dali's signature in this location. Condition: The statute is in excellent condition. The faux marble base is in very good condition with the exception of two small chips--one on the top corner of the top platform, and one on the lower corner of the lower platform.
