Approximately one week after issue, the series was cancelled and unissued notes destroyed, hence why few exist to be enjoyed today. This Uncirculated example is one of only four examples graded Choice Uncirculated or better by PMG at the time of cataloging. Extremely rare and desirable, this an important offering that could be the standout piece in somebodies collection. An authentic note that this note replicates sold for thousands GBP and was in way worse condition. This note is unattainable for most but this reproduction is the next best thing available which is perfect to display in your home or add to your binder etc. All of these notes go under digital restoration of some kind. Description of the note this reproduction replicates: Panama Banco Central de Emision 10 Balboas 1941High denomination banknotes from Panama's 1941 series are extremely scarce and very desirable, especially in issued form. This high grade 10 Balboas is one of only a few extant, and is bettered by only two examples in the PMG Population Report. Six million Balboas were printed by the Hamilton Banknote Company in a variety of denominations. Within one week of issue, nearly of half the six million Balboas were issued, but that was abruptly halted after a military coup instituted a new president in Panama. All non-issued notes were destroyed, and within ten years, the vast majority of the issued notes were redeemed. Only brief circulation and mild toning from storage are noted on this famous rarity.
