The cog is ceramic hardened for long life. The original design had no defects from Powerdyne. Typical wear is caused by continued use with an issue. What makes the JBP shaft better than the original and the competition? Ceramic hardened.Correct CNC HTD tooling for proper belt release, quiet operation, and lower belt temperatures. Correctly cut threads, pulley shaft, and keyway. Pulleys should never be pounded or pressed into place. If this is required, you have a pulley that is damaged or is not made to specifications.Warranty available if JBP does the rebuild.
