The control itself is a high-quality component sourced from an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), and features a light and smooth operation. The small white connector is a direct fit to the original plug to provide a seamless and simple installation. The assembly is very easy to replace; only a Philips screwdriver is needed. No soldering is required. It simply plugs and screws in place of the original item. The original screws, faceplate and knob can all be reused.
