Description: Remington 1187 12 Ga 30” Rem Choke 3” Shells Gloss Field Rough Read. I have a used Remington 1187 12 gauge vent rib field barrel for sale. This barrel is used and has a few marks and some rust. I think this barrel is usable, but it isn’t the prettiest. It also appears to have been refinished, I don’t think it’s a factory finish. See pictures for condition. This barrel is 30 inches long and accepts any 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells. It has a matte finish, and is missing the bead sight. This barrel takes Rem Chokes and threads are good, but the choke doesn’t go in super smooth. I think if time were spent cleaning the barrel, the choke would go in much easier. Bore doesn’t look great. I can’t tell if the bore is pitted, or if it’s super dirty. I think it’s safe to shoot, but it doesn’t look pretty.
