Description: Craftsman Jr. 5502 made by Rock Island in the 1930s-1940s time frame for Craftsman. This vise was stripped to raw metal, polished, and painted gloss apple red. There are no cracks or previous repair on this vise. I replaced the jaw screws with new 1/4-20 thread screws I had manufacturered for these types of vises. The jaws, anvil, and handles were polished to a bright mirror shine. Nobody else on eBay restores/remasteres vises like I do. I take the time to spend on every little detail I can when restoring these. Nobody else polishes their vise hardware to a mirror shine like I do.
