"RELIC" Fender Squier TELECASTER 5-Hole Guard Tele Vintage/Retro *LOOK HERE!

NOTE: Due to different viewing screens, colors and/or contrast, etc. of pictures may look different than actual. This is a recent model Fender Squier Telecaster that's been Relic'd (aged) and modified to somewhat resemble a vintage Telecaster. "String-Through" Poplar Body with a light Cream Yellow finish. It's been distressed with a dulled finish, finish swirls, dings, dents & chips to replicate age & playwear from years of use. "ALL" the Hardware has been aged down to every single screw! These are cosmetic modifications only that doesn't affect playability. Original mini-pots replaced with full-size 250K Pots. Original White Pickguard replaced with a vintage style Black single-ply 5-hole Pickguard, that's also been aged and adds to the vintage/retro appearance. Squier engraved Neck Plate was replaced with an aged Blank Neck Plate. Has a Maple Neck with a 22 medium Fret Maple Fretboard. 25.5" scale, 9.5" radius, 1-11/16" nut-width. To improve playability, the Fretboard has been lightly sanded with a very fine grit, then thoroughly buffed to make the Fretboard very smooth, better than it came from the manufacture and plays with ease! *I do this to almost all Guitars I sell, new & used and makes for a significant improvement in playability. Fretboard was then stained to replicate playwear, buffed, conditioned with lemon oil, then thoroughly buffed again. Frets are perfect and have been polished so they're bright & slick. Fret Ends rounded a bit more for a comfortable feel...no sharp Fret Ends. *Note, aside from being stained, the Fretboard wasn't distressed for best playability. Back of the Neck was sanded to remove some of the clear-coat, sanded with finer grits until smooth, stained to replicate playwear, buffed, oiled, then thoroughly buffed again. *Back of the Neck wasn't distressed either, for great playability. There aren't any dents or dings. It's "ultra-smooth" and fast! Headstock has a vintage style water-slide decal applied, then entire Headstock sealed with Satin Lacquer and aged. Has Sealed-Gear Tuners, also aged. Not the vintage era look from the back, but they function well and no one will see them anyway. Strung up with a fresh set of quality D'Addario 10-46 Strings (the Brand most Pros use & the only Strings I use) and a complete set-up done including: truss-rod relief, low action, intonation & Pickup heights. Great playing and sounding Tele with a vintage/retro appearance and is an affordable alternative! Like most of my Relic Guitars, the intention was to make it look like an "under the bed find" of an old, well-used Vintage Guitar. If you like the popular Relic look, I believe you'll LOVE this Tele! Has a vintage appearance like it's been heavily played & gigged for years! Weighs 6.8 pounds. No Case.***Absolutely blows away a stock Squier Telecaster in playability...period! *Use the Zoom feature and look closely at every inch the Relic details. **Note that any white spots or shadows seen in pictures are only reflections or glare from lighting. I'm not a store or shop, just a retired Guy that LOVES Guitars and have worked on them for over 30 years. Since I retired, I upgrade, modify, customize, Relic Guitars as a Hobby to keep busy. I consider Guitars to be "playable Art", with the playability of the Neck & Set-Up of course being key. I'm not a professional Luthier, but well above an amateur & I'm "extremely meticulous"! If you're looking for this type of Guitar, think about if other Sellers work on Guitars (most don't) and know how to set them up. Is the Neck straight, Truss-Rod functional, Fretboard clean? Are the Frets oxidized needing cleaned & polished, have dead frets or buzz that requires the frets to be leveled? Will the Strings be rusty or dead, needing a new set? And if it's a used Guitar, I'm sure you've found they usually arrive dusty, needing cleaning and require major tweaking just to be playable! Not this one! Also, will other Seller's description be as thorough as mine? Remember that you get what you pay for!This being said, I must also note: The Neck is perfectly straight, and it plays great, but I can't predict how you like your Guitar set up, so be advised that adjustments or a set-up to your preference "may" be required, and if you can't do it yourself, the costs associated with these adjustments should be expected. Also note that Guitars are made of Wood, and when in transit to you, temperature changes and/or Delivery Service Handling can affect my initial set-up, that again may require adjustments on your end. This is true of ANY Guitar shipped from an individual or from online Big-Box Stores.
