Description: This produce crate label was used by G. F. McGee & Sons Produce Co. Red cardinal bird perched on brand. This label is from a printers archive, or sample room. When a lithograph company ran an order they would date stamp a few labels and put them into an archive. These was a reference area where they could go back and see examples of past work and when it was done. Generally these are very scarce compared to labels found at the packing companies. This label has DEC 26 1958 on the back. 5.00 x 7.00 inches in size. Printed in the 1950s.Condition, mint. An original fruit crate label, NOT a copy, NOT a computer-printed art print.
