Description: Up for sale here is this recap kit for a pair of Wharfedale W60E speakers. This will let you completely recap two (2) Wharfedale W60E speakers. These are not for the regular W60 speakers, that kit is here. These are brand new Supertech MPT (metallized polypropylene film) capacitors, which are super-high-quality and will sound nice and clear. There are two different crossover designs for the Wharfedale W-60E speakers. One version uses one 12.5 uf capacitor (it's actually two 25 uf caps in series to make a 12.5 uf cap) and two 4 uf capacitors per speaker, and the other version uses one 18 uf capacitor and two 4 uf capacitors per speaker. This listing is set up so you can select whichever set of caps you need. You will need to open up your speakers to check the crossover caps before you order. I would suggest opening both speakers, just in case one has a different crossover than the other. These are fairly easy to install as long as you know what you're doing. You will need a decent soldering iron, solder, a Philips and/or flathead screwdriver, wire cutters, and a hot glue gun or rubber cement to aid in mounting the caps. The new caps are larger than the originals, because they are much higher-quality. They will still fit just fine.
