Description: Up for sale here is this complete rebuild kit for the Realistic APM-200 Audio Power Meter (#42-2102). This is all the capacitors you need to completely recap one of these meters. The APM-200 itself is not included, but they're pretty easy to find. These meters are over 40 years old by now, and the electrolytic capacitors will need replacing. This kit includes 17 capacitors, all Nichicon PW and Wima film caps, at the same capacitance (uf) ratings and the same or improved voltage ratings. These are extremely high-quality parts, and they are what I use when I rebuild vintage gear. I would also recommend replacing the lights while you're working on your APM-200. I have some nice warm white LEDs for it here. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is a little complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. This is fairly delicate work, so if you're not an experienced solderer this may not be a good idea. Please see my pictures for details. The last two pictures show an APM-200 with this kit installed.
