Description: Overall Condition: Fair This camera took a hit on the top right side, and it had a pretty good dent in it. I took the top cover off and was able to use a piece of wood to knock the dent mostly out. This allowed me to align the screw on the right side of the camera (if you're looking at the back of the camera). You can see in the photos that the film advance lever has some damage from a drop, though. There's some spotting on the ring that surrounds the lens (if you're looking right at the front of the lens). I tried cleaning it with alcohol and a cotton swab but it wouldn't come off. Could be a little corrosion on the metal. Lens looks free of haze and fungus. Otherwise the camera is in really excellent condition given its age. It must have been kept in the case even during use. The bottom plate is practically flawless. Film door opens and closes no problem. Film advance lever works no problem. All the adjustments on the lens work. Biggest issue? The aperture blades are stuck closed. There was a minute after I first bought the camera where the shutter was firing but I'm not sure if the aperture blades were ever moving. Most likely they're a bit gunked up with congealed lubricant (this happens all the time). Japan Vintage Cameras on YouTube has a video showing how to take the front of the lens apart to clean the blades and unlock the shutter. I didn't feel like attempting it though. Viewfinder is a little hazy/blue. I did take the top cover off and cleaned all the viewfinder elements (other than the rangefinder itself - didn't touch that). I put a new battery in and the light meter works great. Fully responsive. What do you get? 1. Camera2. Instruction Manual3. Case with Neck Strap4. New Battery Please message with any questions before you purchase.
