I owned one of the worlds largest online hobby shops for 11 years and had access to the best tools, and parts, and I am a skilled builder. This one was meant for my personal use and I built it with the best of everything. Started with a Carl Goldberg kit, then replaced the flimsy plastic cowling with custom fiber glass ones at the cost of $300. Wing and fuse were assembled on a perfectly flat wing board. I replaced the landing gear w carbon fiber gear, reinforced all important stress points w carbon fiber, Futuba S9204 metal high torque servos on all control surfaces with a push pull rudder layout. Heavy control arms on all surfaces. Italian made 45cc Super Tigre engine hung with a vibration isolating engine mount with a Perry carburetor, Perry fuel pump and weight saving micro servo for throttle. Pitts style muffler included. Beautiful Tru Turn aluminum spinner w appropriate propellor included. I’ve fully assembled the plane prior to beginning monocote and it is perfectly balanced without added weight. The location of the battery pack alone above the wing give plenty of adjustment for your own taste. She has some hanger rash but nothing difficult to fix. All she needs is skin, so if you know how to apply monocote here is a chance to own a well engineered and well built flying machine that the Wright Brothers would have been impressed by.
