Rayovac 840/841/844 4.5V Battery (Replaces Compaq 160274-001 & 160255-001)

Description: This is a replacement for the Rayovac 840, 841 & 844 batteries. Replaces Compaq 160274-001 & 160255-001 along with several models found in various Macintosh systems. Various Compaq Prolinea, Deskpro & Proliant systems use these batteries. If the sticker inside the system references a 4.5v alkaline battery, your system likely uses this battery. The battery dimensions are 62x37x19mm. Condition is "New". The parts used for this battery pack were bought in June 2024. They will contain a name brand battery such as Energizer or Rayovac. I will try to use Rayovac cells, but that is not always possible. Starting July 1st 2024: These packs will come shipped with sticky back velcro. Not all systems require this. You'll likely need this for Pentium I era Compaq systems with a depleted soldered on coin cell. Note 1: Lithium options are available but are not compatible with all systems. Lithium batteries have higher voltage output versus the alkaline. Some systems may fail to post with lithium packs. If you opt for this, you assume all risks associated with using lithium batteries. If you want this option, please message me and I will put a new listing up for it. Note 2: The packs are also now polarized. You may get a pack with an on/off switch. It depends on what I can get. They'll function the same regardless. What you see is what you get. You will receive a new ready to use battery pack. Please make sure these are compatible with your system before purchasing.
