Description: For your consideration is a Rayo No. 100 kerosene lantern. Between the fount and the burner is some tiny stamped in below the surface writing; I can read the word PATENTED, but I cannot read the other writing. It has a DIETZ D-LITE LOC - NOB globe. Not counting the carrying handle or the hanging loop, the height is approximately 13 1/4" and the bottom of the fount has a diameter of almost 6 3/4".This lantern is an old item that was used. The black paint is not original. I cannot make the thumbwheel turn very much. It turns and the wick moves, but the thumbwheel abruptly stops very soon (I refrained from using pliers and spray lubricant). The crown is bent. The fount is dented. The fill plug and thing it attaches to are missing. The dome that covers the burner is dented. I suspect that beneath the black paint, it is rusty. Please, carefully examine the pictures, as the pictures are part of the description. Whenever it is practical, I will combine shipping. Local pickup is encouraged and is free. For bookkeeping purposes, this is lot DGW-745.
